# HyperPersonal AI > The personality intelligence layer for better people decisions. Validated personality data turned into structured insight for hiring, development and team collaboration. Decision support, never automated decisions. HyperPersonal AI covers both halves of the employment relationship: choosing who to hire, and managing the person once they are hired. After the hire a manager can ask deep questions about one employee — is this person coachable, what actually motivates them, why did that instruction land badly, should I promote them, should I let them go — and the answer is grounded in that employee's own record: their IPIP-300 personality profile across 5 domains and 30 facets, the recorded HR incidents, the notes colleagues wrote, their career history and the role as the organisation defined it. Every answer names what it read from and separates what was measured from what a colleague stated from what is being inferred. It prepares the conversation and will not return a verdict — no hire decision, no fire decision. If the record does not hold the answer it says so rather than guessing about a real colleague. ## Product - [Product](https://hyperpersonal.co/product): Three products on one profile: CV Cat structures every CV the same way, Big Five Test measures thirty facets, and screening reads candidates against your role. - [Use cases](https://hyperpersonal.co/use-cases): Three places personality intelligence changes the decision: structuring interviews, development conversations, and how differently a team works. - [Science](https://hyperpersonal.co/science): The Big Five across 5 domains and 30 facets, from the public-domain IPIP-300. Continuous dimensions, not categories, with the limits stated. - [Vision](https://hyperpersonal.co/vision): One profile a person builds and owns, which any application can request scoped, revocable access to. A direction we are building toward, not a shipped feature. ## Hiring and selection - [Candidate assessment tools](https://hyperpersonal.co/candidate-assessment-tools): What each kind of candidate assessment tool actually tells you, what it cannot, and how a team without an HR department can use one on a live role this week. - [Big Five personality test](https://hyperpersonal.co/big-five-personality-test): Take the full IPIP-300 Big Five personality test free on your phone, a few questions a day. Five domains and thirty facets as percentiles, never a type. - [Resume screening software](https://hyperpersonal.co/resume-screening-software): CV Cat reads PDFs and Word files in any layout and writes the same columns for every candidate — sortable, exportable, and never an automatic rejection. - [Pre-employment personality test](https://hyperpersonal.co/pre-employment-personality-test): How a pre-employment personality test actually runs, what a full IPIP-300 sees that a ten-minute screener misses, and where it belongs in a hiring process. - [Personality test for hiring](https://hyperpersonal.co/personality-test-for-hiring): Type-based instruments sort people into boxes; trait models place them on dimensions. What each outputs, how stable it is on retest, and what it is good for. - [Talent assessment software](https://hyperpersonal.co/talent-assessment-software): What the software actually does: what you upload, what you see, and what it will not do. Priced at USD 10 per employee seat, stated on the page. ## Managing people after the hire - [Day-to-day management](https://hyperpersonal.co/day-to-day-management): Most assessment tools stop at the offer letter. Ask about one employee — what motivates them, why an instruction landed badly — answered from their own record. - [Employee personality assessment](https://hyperpersonal.co/employee-personality-assessment): For people already hired. What a manager can do differently once they have a profile, and why assessing employees needs more care than assessing candidates. - [Managing different personality types](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/managing-different-personality-types): What reads as clear direction to one person reads as micromanagement to another. What to say instead, and why a profile never excuses missed work. - [How to motivate an employee](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/how-to-motivate-an-employee): You already suspect it is not only money, and you are right. What else it can be, how to tell which applies here, and when a pay conversation is the honest one. - [Is this employee coachable?](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/is-this-employee-coachable): No questionnaire measures coachability. What you can do is run a short, fair test of whether feedback is landing — and check your own half of it first. - [Pairing a mentor](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/pairing-a-mentor): Most pairing in a small company is whoever has time, and it fails quietly. What a pair actually needs, and the mistakes that look sensible at the time. ## Comparisons - [Compare alternatives](https://hyperpersonal.co/alternatives): How we compare with established assessment platforms — including the cases where one of them is plainly the better answer than us. - [vs Hogan Assessments](https://hyperpersonal.co/alternatives/hogan): Hogan is built for leadership assessment with a certified practitioner. If you are hiring your sixth employee next month, here is the honest comparison. - [vs Predictive Index](https://hyperpersonal.co/alternatives/predictive-index): PI is a broad talent platform including a cognitive measure we do not offer. Where depth on one instrument matters more than breadth, here is the comparison. - [vs TestGorilla](https://hyperpersonal.co/alternatives/testgorilla): Skills tests answer whether someone can do the work. A personality profile answers how they will work. Here is when each one is the right instrument. - [vs CliftonStrengths](https://hyperpersonal.co/alternatives/cliftonstrengths): CliftonStrengths ranks your themes against each other. The IPIP-300 places you against a reference population. Here is which question each one answers. ## Free tools - [Cost of a bad hire calculator](https://hyperpersonal.co/cost-of-a-bad-hire): Work out what a single mis-hire costs in USD, SGD, HKD or INR — including the months nobody prices. Your numbers, stated assumptions, shareable result. - [Interview questions generator](https://hyperpersonal.co/interview-questions-generator): Generate behavioural interview questions for a specific role and level, with what to listen for in each answer. Free, no signup, nothing to install. ## Guides - [All guides](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides): Guides to assessing candidates and interviewing well, comparisons with the established assessment tools, two free calculators, and a glossary of the terms. - [How to assess candidates](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/how-to-assess-candidates): The end-to-end process for a company with no HR department, in the order it actually runs — and why most bad hires are decided before anyone reads a CV. - [Structured interview guide](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/structured-interview-guide): Build the scorecard before the first interview, ask everyone the same core questions, and write it down immediately. What structure fixes, and what it does not. - [Are personality tests legal?](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/are-pre-employment-personality-tests-legal): Not legal advice. The questions to take to a qualified adviser in your jurisdiction, and the process practices that keep a hiring process defensible anywhere. - [How much does a bad hire cost?](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/how-much-does-a-bad-hire-cost): One mis-hire at a twenty-person company, followed month by month. The salary was the cheap part, and the expensive part never reaches a spreadsheet. - [Big Five vs MBTI vs DISC](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/big-five-vs-mbti-vs-disc): Type systems output categories; trait models output positions on a dimension. What each produces, how it behaves on a retake, and what it honestly supports. - [Are personality tests discriminatory?](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/personality-tests-and-adverse-impact): What adverse impact means, how any selection procedure can produce it, and the practices that make a hiring process more defensible. Not legal advice. - [Candidate data protection](https://hyperpersonal.co/guides/candidate-data-protection): What happens to candidate data in a hiring assessment, the questions worth asking any vendor, and what to tell candidates first. Not legal advice. ## Reference - [Glossary](https://hyperpersonal.co/glossary): Plain definitions of the terms used in personality assessment and hiring — domain, facet, percentile, protocol validity, adverse impact, decision support. ## For individuals - [For individuals](https://hyperpersonal.co/for-individuals): Take the full IPIP-300 on your phone, ten questions a day. Keep a facet-level profile, and share it with an organisation only if you choose to. ## Trust and limits - [Privacy](https://hyperpersonal.co/privacy): Personality data should not become invisible organisational surveillance. Access is permissioned, purpose-limited, enumerable and revocable. - [Privacy Policy](https://hyperpersonal.co/privacy-policy): How Alano Tech Pte. Ltd. collects, uses and protects personal data in HyperPersonal AI, aligned to Singapore’s PDPA and a GDPR-shaped framework. - [Terms of Service](https://hyperpersonal.co/terms): The terms on which Alano Tech Pte. Ltd. provides HyperPersonal AI: pilot terms, acceptable use, and the limits of what the service outputs mean. ## Company - [About](https://hyperpersonal.co/about): Built from a problem its founder had directly: in a small company every hire is a strategic allocation, and the tools built for large enterprises do not fit. - [Pricing](https://hyperpersonal.co/pricing): One price, on the page, no demo gate. USD 10 per employee seat during the pilot period, billed postpaid at month end. The assessment app is free to candidates. - [Sign up](https://hyperpersonal.co/pilot): We work with selected organisations to test HyperPersonal in a real hiring workflow. Pilot partners get assessment access, the portal and direct support. - [Contact](https://hyperpersonal.co/contact): Email hello@alano.ai or use the form below — both arrive in the same place.
